Jerry and Liz Fiore are set to host the “Gathering II” at their Sogno del Fiore Vineyard on Saturday evening, August 18th. The Vineyard is located in Santa Ynez, CA on Refugio Road. The event is a joint fundraiser for People Helping People and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The event includes a champagne reception, tasting of an extensive array of California wines, and a dinner and dessert buffet prepared by locally and nationally renowned chefs. The setting overlooking the vineyard and the entire valley is breathtaking.
Last year, 150 guests attended what Becky Barieau, PHP Treasurer and a principal at Foxen Vineyard and Winery, called “the best tasting and dinner event of the year.” The inaugural event was a tremendous success with guests wined and dined by nine of the area’s best chefs and 21 wineries. Due to the tremendous feedback and early demand for tickets, this year the Fiores are making room for 250 guests. However, tickets will go fast!
